We are extremely glad to launch ‘Rebound’, Altimetrik’s unique Back to Work program for women. This is a key program under the global ‘Diversity’ initiatives aimed to support women who are on a career break. This initiative will help experienced women technologists resume their tech journey as we handhold and support them by providing the required technical and interpersonal training.
Some key highlights of the program are:
- Women with career break between 6 months - 3 years, with prior coding experience are invited for this program.
- Candidates can be from across the country and their eventual work location will be in Bengaluru/Chennai/Hyderabad/Pune.
- Selected candidates will go through 6-8 weeks of a comprehensive development program which will consist of free technical boot camp sessions, mentoring sessions, interpersonal skills training, leadership connects and more.
- Candidates will be ‘Altimetrik Certified’ on successful completion of the course.
- Based on their performance and the final interview, Altimetrik will look to hire them as full-time employees.
- The first batch will focus on the following 2 separate streams
a. Core Java, Spring Boot
b. React, Node JS, JavaScript - First batch will be opened for 20-25 women

Experience: 5-10 years

- BE/ME in computer science or equivalent work experience in IT
- 5+ years experience designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms
- 3+ years in Spring MVC
- 2+ years in Springboot
Technical Competency – Essentials to have
- Strong experience in OOPS concepts, common design patterns, data structures
- Experience in Dependency Injection, Annotation, Validations, Auto Wiring
- Experience developing and designing API integrations using SOAP/RESTful
- Experience in RESTful API design and implementation, including API documentation (Swagger/OAI, RAML), API versioning, data formats (JSON, XML)
- Experience ORM
- Experience in MQ integration
- Experience in test-driven development
- Experience in code versioning tools, such as Git
- Experience in build tools such as Ant/Maven/Gradle
Technical Competency – Nice to have
- Good knowledge in internal working on Memory Management, Transaction management
- Knowledge on DevOps pipeline tools like Jenkins, tools for Code quality scan, tools for security scan

- Hands-on experience in React(state , props, life cycle methods, promises, data binding, memorizing)
- Hands-on experience in NodeJS(event driven , event loop, control flow, modules for web operations, streams)
- Experience in developing reusable code and libraries for future use
- Experience in API integration, asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
- Proficient in understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around such issues
- Experience in code versioning tools, such as Git
- Experience with front-end build tools, such as Grunt and Gulp.js
Technical Competency – Nice to have
